Northampton have sold defender Gabor Gyepes to Cardiff for an undisclosed fee. The 27 year old missed two years with previous club Wolves and joined the Cobblers in January. Leeds midfielder Jonathan Douglas has rejected a loan move to Southend. The former Leeds captain is no longer in Gary McAllister's plans.
Chester have invited veteran striker Wayne Allison to assist manager Simon Davies. The 39 year old has UEFA 'A' and 'B' coaching badges. Bristol Rovers may have to wait for Jo Kuffour even if they win the chase for the ex-Arsenal man. Colchester have expressed an interest in the striker but the Cherries want a replacement lined up before they sell the £75,000 rated player.
Carlisle have signed Bristol City defender Richard Keogh on a two year deal. The 22 year old, who had a loan spell at Brunton Park last season, joins for an undisclosed sum. Walsall are giving a trial to striker Nick Chadwick. The former Everton trainee scored only ten times in 83 games for Plymouth after a £250,000 move and was released in the summer.
