Lines looks forward to Hereford Visit

Bristol Rovers midfielder Chris Lines has said that Rovers need to make the Memorial Stadium a fortress. They lost their first home game against Carlisle.

"Lennie (Lawrence) said after the game that our performance in the second half was the best we'd played so far this season," Lines told the Rovers official website.

"We need to maintain that level, and play like that against Hereford on Saturday.

"That's a massive game for us now, they haven't won a game this season, but we want to go out there and win - and win well. It's important on a number of levels to get our first win under our belts, and we know how big this match is in terms of shaping our season early on.

"It's very important that this season we get our home form back to what it was a couple of seasons ago. Teams used to be afraid to come to our place, we rarely lost there, but last season it was nothing like that.

"Hereford have just come up from League Two, and they'll be expecting a tough game. We need to make sure we carry on from last weekend and produce a performance that wins us the match and the three points."
