Hereford miss out on Dutch winger

Hereford United have missed out on Michael van der Heijden after a loan move fell through. Graham Turner confirmed that the deal had collapsed despite the signs looking good.

"As of Thursday morning at nine o'clock I thought the deal was cut and dried, but by 9.30 it was all off again", commented Turner to BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We have been interested in Michael, but at the moment the deal has hit a stumbling block."
