For those of you with an unquenchable thirst for stats and facts the FSF, Football Supporters Federation, has hooked up with a few publishers and secured discounts on 2008-09 football year books including The Sky Sports Football Yearbook 2008-09 (formerly Rothmans), Playfair Annual 08-09 and the Nationwide Football Annual 2008-09.
The Sky Sports Football Yearbook 2008-09 (formerly Rothmans) normally retails at around £35 but they’ve secured copies for members at £22.75 (inc. P&P), a 35% saving on RRP. The book clocks up at a whopping 1000 pages and aside from the usual domestic league coverage also covers European competition and Euro 08. Described by the Daily Telegraph as the ‘first reference book you should turn to’ the new edition also features FA Cup Final analysis from 1872 to 2008.
They have also got the Sky Sports Football Yearbook in paperback, available at £13 (inc. P&P) which is a £7 saving on RRP.
There’s also the pocket sized Playfair Football Annual 2008-09 available from the same author – Jack Rollin – available at £5 inc. P&P (RRP £6.99).
