Hereford United manager Graham Turner thought that the two Leyton Orient goals were 'diaboloical.'
Interviewed by Richard Prime, Turner thought that the Bulls had showed Orient too much respect on times this afternoon.
"It's a new experience for us and I've just been stressing that we can live with sides like Leyton Orient.
"I felt at times we had just that little lack of belief about us and it proved costly.
"Two goals, whatever standard, whatever formation - diabolical goals from our point of view. First one especially.
"We were too deep, (for the first goal) far too deep. If we've have stayed out of the box, let the lad run offside or Darren Randolph deal with him. Far too deep, basic error.
"The second one - plenty of time to defend set-piece. We know Tam is a threat and it was a silly penalty to give away."
Martin Ling was, understandably, pleased with the result.
"To get three points after five-and-a-half weeks of hard pre-season work shows what we've done is right.
"The performance was good - I wouldn't say it was excellent - but we did well in the first half, and then after half time, my goalkeeper hasn't been worked at all"
