Deadman to referee Yeovil Game

Darren Deadman is to take charge of Hereford United's first home game of their League One season which is next Saturday against Yeovil.

Deadman, from Cheshunt, is no stranger to Edgar Street.

Last season he was the man in the middle when Brentford were the visitors. That day Luke Webb scored both Hereford's goals in their 2-0 victory.

Seven players were booked but only one, Dean Beckwith, was wearing a Hereford shirt.
