Adam Stansfield is expected to lead Exeter's attack against Cambridge United this afternoon in the Conference play-off final at Wembley. It will be the second season running he has played at the new stadium.
The former Hereford United striker is quite used to play-off games as he played for the Bulls against Halifax two seasons ago and last year for the Grecians against Morecambe.
Back in 2001 when with Yeovil he played in the Trophy Final at Villa Park and scored in their 2-0 win against Stevenage.
In 2005 whilst with Hereford he played in the Conference semi-final games against Stevenage which the Bulls lost on aggregate.
In 2006 Stansfield lead the attack against Halifax in the Conference play-off final at the Walkers Stadium. The Bulls won this game and so returned to the Football League.
Stansfield left Hereford and then joined Exeter in June 2006.
In 2007 Exeter lost out to Morecambe 2-1.
This afternoon will be his second play-off final game for the Grecians.
