Two former Hereford United players are expected to start for Cardiff City this afternoon in the FA Cup final game against Portsmouth at Wembley.
Paul Parry and Tony Capaldi has been regulars in the Bluebirds squad and whilst Parry has missed a few games recently both should feature.
If Cardiff win the game it will be the first time the Cup has left England for over 80 years.
However the politics of football should be put to one side today. What happens on the pitch is what really matters.
Meanwhile several other former Hereford United players will be in action today in the League Two play-off second leg games.
Rob Purdie should start for Darlington against Rochdale. Because of injury problems he may play at left back.
Both Michael Rose and Stephen Gleeson are expected to be in the Stockport line-up against Wycombe.
