Darlington have lost another striker after Julian Joachim limped out of today's loss to Stockport.
The former Leicester man will be out for three weeks according to reports, leaving the Quakers desperately short of attacking options for Saturday's opener to the Bulls' "Week of Death".
Richie Foran's season is already over, and Martin Smith was released as his injury was not going to clear up in time, while Pawel Abbott is not expected to make any kind of return in time for next week's crunch match. Their only 'fit' striker is Tommy Wright, who has been carrying an injury for the last couple of weeks. Wright has forged a lone role up front in the last two games, assisted by Joachim and Rob Purdie on the wings, but the Quakers have been goal-less both times.
