Paul Parry is expected to face a late fitness test before this afternoon's FA Cup semi final game at Wembley.
He suffered a muscle strain in Cardiff's game with West Bromwich last Tuesday.
No doubt the former Hereford United player will be hopeful he can start alongside another former Bull Tony Capaldi.
Cardiff are favourites to defeat Barnsley.
UPDATE 6pm: Cardiff won the tie 1-0 but Parry didn't get into the squad.
Meanwhile there are reports that John Motson might be commentating on his last FA Cup Final next month. The BBC have lost the rights to show the game and most other football as well and Motson faces a choice of moving to another station, commentating for Five Live or retiring.
Motson came into prominance as a commentator back in 1972 when he covered Hereford United's famous replay win over Newcastle, having joined the corporation just three months before.
