In addition to today's game at Shrewsbury there are three more games on Tuesday evening in League Two with the top game at MK Dons where Hereford United will be the visitors.
Today (Sunday 12 Noon):
Shrewsbury v Wrexham, 12:00
Tuesday, 15 April:
Grimsby v Wycombe
Milton Keynes Dons v Hereford
Rochdale v Barnet
Meanwhile after yesterday's results it is becoming slightly clearer which teams are fighting it out for automatic promotion and which teams should make the play-offs as our Bulls News Potential Points Table shows.
1 Milton Keynes Dons 42 43 89... PP = 101
2 Peterborough 43 39 86... PP = 95
3 Hereford 41 25 78... PP = 93
4 Stockport 42 19 78... PP = 90
5 Darlington 43 26 74... PP = 83
6 Rochdale 42 19 72... PP = 84
7 Wycombe 42 12 69... PP = 81
8 Chesterfield 43 21 67... PP = 76
The table shows that, as yet, no team has secured automatic promotion but a win for MK Dons against Hereford on Tuesday will secure them a League One place.
However a win for Hereford would mean that the the title race will still be wide open with just three points between Dons and Peterborough and the Bulls closing the gap on both of them.
In which case MK Dons will need to defeat Stockport next Saturday to ensure they are promoted. Given Stockport's recent run, including their win at Peterborough yesterday, three points for the Dons is no certainty.
And if the Bulls have a really good week culminating in a win over Posh on Saturday, Darren Ferguson could be wondering whether he'll still be in League Two next season.
As regards the play-offs only Chesterfield (8th) still have a possible chance of taking the place of one of the teams above them. However whatever happens one out of MK Dons, Peterborough, Hereford and Stockport are definitely in the play-offs. Which one of the four remains to be seen.
