MK Dons brushed aside Wrexham 4-1 to return to the top of the table by two points. Rochdale cemented their play-off spot with a 4-2 beating of sorry Notts County, moving five points inside the top seven.
Bradford and Barnet shared a 1-1 draw, as did Morecambe and Shrewsbury. The Shrimps became the eighth side to record a sub-2000 attendance this season, while the Shrews are now 15 without a win.
Tomorrow, Stockport entertain Mansfield at Edgeley Park. A seven goal win by Stockport would give them third place having played a game more than the Bulls, while any victory for the Stags would pull them out of the relegation spots on goals scored.
In the Conference, Aldershot will be promoted at the weekend if they win and Torquay don't. Stafford were relegated after tonight's results, pending the usual post-season Conference shenanigans, and Droylsden have followed them after results meant they could not overhaul the 15 point gap despite having sufficient games to play with their target rivals playing each other.
In League One, Luton will be relegated if they fail to win at the weekend or either Crewe or Gillingham win. Port Vale will join them if they lose and the Railwaymen or Gills get a point. Swansea will confirm promotion if Doncaster lose on Friday night, but will guarantee it by winning their game.
