Peterboro return to the top of the table after a 2-2 draw with now seventh Wycombe. Darlington slip to fourth after losing 1-0 to form side Stockport, who are now within three points of the automatic spots. Rochdale beat Grimsby 3-1 to move up to sixth and Chesterfield kept the pressure up with a 4-1 win over Shrewsbury (14 games without a win) to stay within two points and, realistically, are the only other side that can make the top seven.
Down the bottom, Mansfield are within three points of safety after a 2-2 draw with Barnet. It should have been more, however, as they wasted a two goal lead. Wrexham are still seven points short after a 1-1 draw with Macclesfield, while Notts County look more nervous than ever after a 2-1 loss at Bury. The Magpies have scored just twice in seven games.
In other games, Bradford beat Morecambe 1-0 to make the Shrimps play-off dreams increasingly faint. They are 11 points short with 15 to play for. Brentford beat Rotherham 2-1, but their run sees them ten short with 12 to play for.
