Bournemouth have secured funding to complete the season, but have failed to enter a CVA.
At today's creditor's meeting, the taxman refused to support the proposed CVA - instantly defeating the proposal due to the size of debt owed to HMRC. However two unidentified bidders have lodged £100,000 funds with Administrator Gerald Krasner to keep the club trading through to the end of the season, with Krasner expecting to sell the club "within 20 hours".
The failure to enter a CVA may see the Cherries docked more points dependent on the terms of the sale agreed by Krasner. The Football League would examine any sale to determine whether football creditors are paid off in full and if any further breaches of League rules are made during the sale.
