Tomorrow sees six of the seven top teams in League Two pitted against each other in what could be a deciding weekend as to who goes up automatically to League One.
As matters stand wins for both MK Dons and Peterborough will secure their promotion and three points for Hereford United will keep them in third place with a three point gap over whoever is in fourth position always assuming the top two win their matches.
MK Dons (1st) will go into their game against Wycombe (7th) full of confidence after their 4-1 win over Wrexham (24th), who look doomed to Conference football next season. This is a local derby but with Wycombe still having an outside chance of automatic promotion and almost certainly a play-off place there is everything to play for.
Peterborough (2nd) may have a difficult game against Stockport (4th) who have gone eight games, as have Posh, without defeat. However Stockport only defeated lowly Mansfield (23rd) last Wednesday when they converted a penalty. Hereford supporters will be hoping that Posh can win but even a draw would help the Bulls.
Hereford United (3rd) travel to Darlington (5th). Both teams have had a recent poor run of results and both will be eager to keep up the pressure for that third automatic promotion place. Ideally the Bulls need three points from this but a draw might be considered sufficient provided Stockport are defeated at London Road.
The other club in the promotion race Rochdale (6th) probably have the easiest looking fixture out of the top seven clubs. They travel to Dagenham and Redbridge (21st).
