Peterboro returned to the top of the table after they beat Dagenham 3-2, moving two points clear of MK Dons. Darlington lost ground as they lost 2-0 to Wycombe (5th). Stockport are sixth after a 2-1 win over Bradford, while Rotherham stay seventh after a 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury.
Down the bottom sorry Mansfield were thumped 4-0 at home by Rochdale to stay in trouble. Macclesfield lost 1-0 at Brentford to stay only two points above the Stags, while Notts County earned a point with a 0-0 draw with Barnet. Bury moved nine points clear of the drop with an Andy Bishop inspired 2-1 win over Morecambe.
Wrexham play tomorrow, against local rivals Chester, and can make good headway with a win. They can overtake each of the three teams directly above them if they win their games in hand.
