Five players have left Luton Town today as the lack of a new owner forces the Administrator to offload players.
Two of the five have earned transfer fees, totalling just over £1million, a third has left on a free transfer with two more leaving on loans with Lincoln signing Lewis Emanuel, who recently had a similar spell at Brentford. Three more players are the subject of cash bids, with the Hatters facing the prospect of playing their FA Cup replay at Anfield with just six of the eleven players that started the first game still on the books.
In other news, Macclesfield have appointed former director Mike Rance as their new Chairman. He had previously been a director for seven years until 2005. Morecambe have signed Peterboro keeper Shwan Jalal on loan until the end of the season.
Shrewsbury have appointed former Macclesfield Chairman Rob Bickerton as their new Managing Director. He spent five years as Chairman at Moss Rose.
