Hereford United supporters hoping to listen to the FA Cup game from Tranmere this afternoon have been let down by internet problems at the BBC and the FA.
BBC Hereford and Worcester's internet link failed within ten minutes of the game starting. Out of the blue Steve Miller's lively commentary from the Conference game between York City and Kidderminster Harriers was being heard as well as the commentary from Tranmere. Then minutes later it was just the Kidderminster game.
Head of sport at H&W, Trevor Owens, apologised at half-time for the problem which he thought might be a ram file.
As well as the H&W problem, the FA site which also promised coverage from Tranmere also wasn't working.
"Sorry we can't bring you the programme you requested" was their message to anyone trying to listen.
With ten minutes to go Commentary became available on the FA Site
UPDATE: Ben Smith puts the Bulls ahead 19 minutes into second half. Tranmere equalise and then Benjamin puts Bulls ahead with 15 minutes to go. Tranmere equalise. Final score 2-2.
