Surprisingly Hereford United were judged to have had 52% of the possession at this evening's FA Cup replay against Tranmere Rovers which the Bulls won 1-0.
The Bulls had seven shots on target and Tranmere nine. Off target - five shots for the Bulls and fourteen for Tranmere.
And as usual the Bulls played a cleaner game than the opposition. They conceded nine fouls as against nineteen by Tranmere.
No Hereford players were booked.
Tranmere brought 1,095 supporters with them in a total attendance of 6471. The gate was around 500 higher than the Leeds FA Cup game and there were a few spare seats in parts of the ground.
Hereford's Dean Beckwith was deservedly given a top mark of eight. Most of the other players received a seven.
And Hereford will receive £40,000 for winning the match. Not a bad night's work.
