Lincoln eased their relegation worries with a 2-0 win at Rochdale, and Brentford inflicted Shrewsbury's second 1-0 home loss in a week.

In the FA Cup Mansfield recorded only their second away win of the season, the first being against Harrogate in Round One, with a 2-1 win over Brighton. Peterboro won at Championship strugglers Colchester 3-1 - though you would wonder who had the bigger wage bill.
