MK Dons' boss Paul Ince has been named manager of the month for December, his second award of the season. Peterboro have bid £400,000 for Norwich keeper Joe Lewis, who has recently ended a loan spell at Morecambe. Shrewsbury have signed Macclesfield midfielder Kevin McIntyre for an initial £30,000, and sold Stewart Drummond to former club Morecambe for £15,000.
Wycombe have signed former loanee Tommy Docherty on a two and a half year deal after his release from QPR. Bury have signed Chester striker Simon Yeo on loan until the end of the season. The 32 year old previously played under Keith Alexander at Lincoln but has struggled at the Deva, with just four goals this season.
Chesterfield have signed teenage winger Michael Barnes on loan from Man Utd until the end of the season. The Spireites have also extended the loan of Stoke's Adam Rooney. Accrington have loaned midfielder Paul Carden to Cambridge United until the end of the season but have given Sean Webb an extension on his contract until the end of the season.
Rochdale have released Callum Warburton, Kristian Bowden and Kyle Buckley at the end of their short-term contracts. Bowden has been told he will be assessed once he regains fitness after impending surgery. Swansea have confirmed that midfielder Ian Craney is the subject of bids from three League Two clubs, with Accrington, Peterboro and a third un-named club in the running.
Swindon's takeover should complete on January 11th, with prospective owner Andrew Fitton meeting Inland Revenue officials tomorrow to thrash out payments on their £3million tax debt. The club are also hoping to get the Football League to lift a transfer embargo over unpaid footballing debts.
The Sun is reporting that Barnet have rejected a £250,000 offer from Leeds for Jason Puncheon. Last week, the offer was reported as being £150,000. Burton are trying to tempt former England u-21 striker Malcolm Christie to play for them. The 28 year old was released by Middlesboro in the summer and is yet to sign for a club. Ex-Bull Craig Mawson will spend more time on the bench after Halifax extended the loan of Adam Legzdins until the end of the season.
