Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is expected to watch the FA Cup replay between Hereford United and Tranmere Rovers next Wednesday evening.
The Bluebirds, who defeated Chasetown in Round Three, will have to travel to either Edgar Street or Prenton Park for Round Four.
"I would have liked a home tie, but it’s an opportunity for us against lower league opposition," said Jones.
"It’s going to be a difficult tie and a little bit different to Chasetown. As we haven’t got a game ourselves when the sides replay, I’ll be going to watch the game myself."
Although Cardiff's Paul Parry will know Graham Turner from his time with Hereford United, he will have little knowledge about the Bulls current squad.
Meanwhile speculation that Parry is on his way out of Ninian Park continues. However with a reported valuation of around £700,000 it may be a sometime before any move takes place.
