Ben Smith, the Hereford United captain, said he was a bit disappointed with the draw against Tranmere this afternoon.
However he was very pleased with the goal he scored.
"It fell nice and I just concentrated on getting a good contact which I did and it flew in," Smith told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Just disappointed to get pegged back a couple of times."
"They probably had the majority of play in the first half. We looked dangerous on the counter-attack and caused them a few problems. It didn't change much in the second half.
"All four goals were good goals. Shame we couldn't have held on after scoring the second one. If we could have held on for four or five minutes we might have been able to kill the game. They scored straight away and made it a tense last ten minutes. Even then in the last two or three minutes we still had a couple of chances.
"If you said to us at the start of the game that we would be taking them back to our ground we would probably be more than happy with that."
