Former Hereford United striker Alan Connell did the Bulls a favour by scoring for Brentford early in the first half against MK Dons in the only League Two fixture played this evening.
However Brentford were unable to stop the Dons from taking a point as Gallen scored an equaliser in the middle of the second half.
Mk Dons are now six points in front of Hereford United but have played one game more.
