Rose Adds To Glovers Woes

Yeovil midfielder Matthew Rose has added to Yeovil's injury woes by coming down with flu after Saturday's loss to Leeds.

He is the tenth player on the sidelines, but may be forced into action anyway after missing training yesterday. Fellow midfielder Lee Peltier, a late withdrawal for the Elland Road game, is out with an ankle injury while skipper Terry Skiverton will go under the knife on Thursday with boss Russell Slade telling the press: "There's very little good news to tell fans with regard to injuries. It's been very frustrating, more so for the players themselves. Terry and the others are desperate to play."

Slade will use a Wednesday reserve team outing to give a couple of other absentees a fitness boosting game, ruling them out of tonight's match. Yeovil have not scored in their last three games, and have only hit the net nine times in twelve games so far this season compared to the Bulls' 23 goal haul.

Tonight's referee is Mr. S D Cook. He is a new appointee to the Football League list, having covered two games so far this season. The first saw seven bookings, the second just one.
