Post Yeovil match comments

"There were a lot of harsh words said at half-time because I was very upset with the performance," said Yeovil manager Russell Slade.

"It was certainly the worst performance I've had since I've been at Yeovil and probably the worst first half I've had since I've been a manager.

"The display in the first half turned my stomach. I made three substitutions, but I would have made 10 if I could.

"It was totally unacceptable and it wasn't a Russell Slade side out there.

"To be honest if we had performed as badly in the second half I would have offered my resignation.

"I say that because if that's how they were going to perform again then there's no point in me being here."

Meanwhile Hereford chief Graham Turner was much happier and started by mentioning Ainsworth's hat-trick.

"Lionel strikes a very good ball and it doesn't surprise me when he gets into goal scoring positions and has also got the confidence to finish them off," said Turner.

"Collectively it was also a very good performance when we created a lot of good chances and we might have taken one or two more.

"Yeovil were always going to be a threat in the second half when we knew they would up the tempo but I thought we handled things very well."

Rotherham boss Mark Robins also commented on last night's result: 'I also note that Hereford put out Yeovil last night, beating them four-one. This makes our draw with them a better result than we gave ourselves credit for at the time.'
