The entire PremiumTV service failed on Saturday, halting commentaries for the 78 official club websites that use its services. The service collapsed at around 2.45pm just as thousands would have been connecting to their services.
MK Dons have signed Danny Swailes from Macclesfield for an undisclosed fee. The 28 year old defender sat out the match between the two sides on Saturday, and has signed a one year deal. Paul Ince has slammed Macclesfield fans for the reception he received on Saturday, telling the press: "It is a little disappointing when you consider, but for the likes of me and (assistant) Ray Mathias, they would have been watching Conference football this season."
Karl Lewis' Bromsgrove beat Bedford 4-0 in their opening Southern League Premier game. Ex-Bulls John Snape, Wayne Dyer, and Mark Taylor - now 41 - were all on the bench for the club. Lewis was said to be untested in the first half but made good saves early in the second half to protect their lead. Shrewsbury will be missing veteran striker Andy Cooke for up to three months after picking up a hamstring injury in the Carling Cup match with Colchester.
Chris Weale produced a fine display in Bristol City's 1-1 draw with Blackpool at the weekend. Weale, who is only on a month to month deal at Bristol, is hoping to earn a longer deal.
