New rules covering the roles of agents in football are set to be introduced on September 1st.
The rules, which clamp down on agents roles, will see some changes to the way that the Bulls have to deal with agents.
Probably the biggest change to the rules is in relation to relations. Any player being represented by a family member after September 1st will have to have that family member registered with the FA, and the representation will only be allowed under 'very limited circumstances'. Andy Williams was, for a long time, represented by his father and it will make situations like that more difficult.
Family is also included when it comes to which clubs agents can deal with. No longer will agents be able to deal with clubs that employ close family members.
Changes are also coming in that force clubs to deal with agents if a player has one - meaning that the club cannot directly approach an agent contracted player in future. Agents are, however, banned from owning the rights to players.
