Local entertainer, charity fundraiser, and Bulls legend Danny Lee has died aged 60.
Lee, who penned the club anthem 36 years ago, had been suffering from Cancer for some time and friends and family had only recently held a tribute evening to raise funds to send him and his wife on holiday.
He gained national fame in 1983 after breaking a world record by walking a mile with a pint of beer on his head, and raised over £200,000 for charity over the years, completing various stunts along the way.
His taste for stardom never waned and, last year, he entered the ITV talent competition X-Factor, making it past the first round. He re-recorded his song in 2002, making it commercially available for the first time since the original 7" pressing, and remixed the song in 2006.
Danny will always be remembered for his song which has been sung, almost without fail, by Bulls fans home and away since 1972 and for many years to come.
