Bulls News has this morning had contact with Birmingham City and been told that the admission cost may have to be decided by The Football League. "Hereford United are holding out for a higher cost but we know our fans will stay away if we keep the cost up so we have been unable to come to an agreement." It is unlikely that a small difference in ticket prices will greatly affect the numbers of travelling Hereford fans but quite clearly, The Blues do know their own fans and have experience of how they react to high ticket prices for early-round Carling Cup matches. Birmingham City have a reputation for squeezing every penny out of their fans therefore, it's in their interest to set a price that will attract the best income.
