Hereford United were credited with having 64% of the possession in this afternoon's League Two game at Underhill.
They had ten goal attempts of which five were on goal whereas Barnet had seven with four on target.
The Bulls picked up three yellow cards with Ben Smith, and subs Steve Guinan and Sam Gwynne going into the referee's notebook.
As reported earlier Barnet's Joe Devera was red carded in the first half which prompted manager Paul Fairclough to run onto the pitch at half-time to try and speak to the young referee, Gavin Ward. But his protests appeared to fall, quite rightly, on deaf ears. Devera's red was the first of the day in the Leagues.
Some Barnet fans thought that Ward had been harsh to send Devera off but there was little doubt that Benjamin was moving forward directly in line with the middle of the goal when hauled down. Ward consulted the linesman, who originally flagged the offence, before sending Devera off.
Ward's decision to give the Bulls a penalty for hand-ball was also disputed by some who thought that perhaps Benjamin had handled and not Barnet's Max Porter.
Benjamin was awarded an eight for his efforts with Brown, Ainsworth, Rose, Easton and Robinson receiving sevens.
This evening the League Table shows Hereford in fifth place. They could drop a place tomorrow should Peterborough defeat Rotherham.
