Hereford United are set to make a decision about whether this afternoon's friendly against Bristol City goes ahead shortly.
UPDATE 9am: GAME OFF
This from Hereford United:
Although the newly laid Edgar Street pitch had stood up well to the constant downpour, the club want to protect it as much as they can, and combined with the poor weather conditions that have left travelling into Herefordshire vitually impossible, there was no choice but to cancel the game
Whilst the rain has eased, roads around Herefordshire remain difficult in some areas. The River Wye has peaked at Hay-on-Wye and is not expected to cause serious flooding in Herefordshire.
Currently (9am) there is a Flood Watch on the River Wye from Hay-on-Wye to Hereford and a Flood Warning from Hereford to Ross.
