Wilson Bags Manager Of The Month

Hartlepool's Danny Wilson is the Manager of the Month for March. It's his third award of the season with his side unbeaten in 23 games. Chester chairman Stephen Vaughan has quit as chairman of Widnes Vikings, the Rugby League side, citing a lack of interest from fellow directors.

Wrexham are laying on 20 free coaches to take 1,000 fans to their relegation battle with Macclesfield. Over 1,500 Robins fans are expected to make the trip in total. Peterboro have extended Aaron McLean's contract until 2011. The ex-Shots striker has scored ten times in 21 games for the Posh since arriving from Grays.

Aldershot have signed ex-Bull John Grant to a new 2 year deal. He has scored 20 times for the Hampshire club since arriving from Halifax in the summer. MK Dons will be missing influential midfielder Aaron Wilbraham for the rest of the season as he needs surgery on a troublesome ankle problem.

Two midlands non-league clubs are to merge. Moor Green and Solihull Borough are to join to form a new Solihull Moors side in the Nationwide North next season. Moor Green were forced out of their home due to arson in 2005 and have been sharing with Solihull ever since. Several former Bulls have come from, or gone to the two sides in the past, with Mark Turner, son of Graham, currently at Solihull and Danny Davidson at Moor Green.
