Supporters can give the team a lift tomorrow

Simon Travis, the Hereford United defender, thinks that tomorrow's game at Walsall 'will be extremely tough.'

"We will go there and give it 100% and see what happens," Travis told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We like to think of ourselves as a footballing team. I don't know what the state of the pitch is (at Walsall) but if it is a decent surface hopefully we can play a bit more football than we did (against Swindon).

"I think we'll take quite a few supporters which always gives the lads a lift. We do appreciate it."

Dean Beckwith is also hopeful of good support at Walsall.

"When you get a good atmosphere you always get an extra buzz when you're playing the game so hopefully we take a few down there. They'll have a few there and it should be a good game.

"We've done well this season against the top teams and touch wood we will do so (tomorrow) as well.

"It would be a good weekend if we could get a win there."

Walsall are the only team in the top in the top six that Hereford haven't taken points off this season. They defeated the Bulls 1-0 at Edgar Street back in November.

1 Hartlepool (two games - three points to Hereford)
2 Walsall (one game - no points)
3 Swindon (two games - four points)
4 Milton Keynes Dons (two games - four points)
5 Lincoln City (two games - three points)
6 Stockport (two games - three points)
