The list of candidates standing for election at the forthcoming local elections in Herefordshire on Thursday, May 3, has been published. The names are displayed on Herefordshire Council’s website – http://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/.
As ever all the main parties are contesting seats.
Candidates had until noon last Wednesday, April 4, to register.
A total of 179 candidates will stand in 40 wards to become one of Herefordshire Council’s 58 Councillors.
The result of the election could have a bearing on how quickly the Edgar Street Grid progresses and as such may be of interest to some Hereford United supporters.
