Turner will take any sort of win

Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, has told the Evening News that he doesn't expect his side to score nine goals tonight against Dagenham.

"I think it's fair to say Dagenham will want to avenge what happened the last time we met. It was an excellent performance and an unbelievable result on the night in front of live television cameras.

"It was one of those scorelines that I don't think you will ever see repeated. None of my sides had ever scored nine previously. We go there full of confidence and we will take any sort of win."

Turner also spoke of all the cards at the Burton game.

"Too many cards were shown out during the game. Ourselves and Burton Albion had the two best disciplinary records in the Conference last season yet he found a way of booking six and sending another off.

"I don't think Tammy's tackle deserved a red card. A yellow card would have been shown 99 times out of 100 for that.

"It was a frustrating afternoon because Burton laid down and defended in numbers. We were not bright enough in attack and, after the sending off, it was always going to be difficult to get that goal."
