Green saw specialist in Manchester
Ryan Green, Hereford United's former Welsh international full-back, could be included in the squad for tonight's Nationwide Conference clash at Accrington Stanley.
Green has missed Hereford's last six games due to a suspected hernia problem and will face a fitness check before manager Graham Turner decides on his starting line-up.
Turner told the Western Daily Press: "Ryan saw a specialist in Manchester recently and was advised to start training again and he has come through okay.
"There is a possibility he will be available for the game at Accrington."
Meanwhile the Hereford United under 19 side was defeated 4-0 by Rushden and Diamonds last Saturday.
