Mkandawire in New England
Tamika Mkandawire is in New England according to Revsnet.
It reports that: England-based youngster Tamika Mkandawire trained with the Revolution (a New England club) last Wednesday in the hope of being signed by the club.
Mkandawire is a 20-year old defender who played five games earlier this year on loan from West Bromwich Albion of the English First Division. A native of the tiny African country of Malawi, Mkandawire played in five games last year for Hereford, on what was actually his second loan stint with the Conference side.
Tamika is believed to be be free agent who would be free to sign with New England, should he impress the coaching staff sufficiently. The player would count as a Transitional International, meaning he would have to displace a current member of the squad in order to earn a contract.
