Parry injured at Ninian Park
Paul Parry, recently transferred from Hereford United, has been injured at Ninian Park this afternoon during the first-half of the match against Wimbledon and was carried off on a stretcher.
First reports suggested that he received a bad leg injury during a goal-mouth scramble. Later it was revealed that nothing had been broken but there was tissue damage.
A Wimbledon free-kick was headed against the post and Parry sustained the injury after the ball had cannoned off the woodwork. He went into a challenge to try and clear the ball but came off worse.
After the game a Cardiff supporter posted a tribute to Parry: "The boy is magic. If he had stayed on we would have won today. He was turning their defenders inside out.
"Lennie got this one right, thats for sure."
