Brown may get the call
David Brown, the Hereford United striker, may get a call from Paul Fairclough to join the English squad for the Four-Nation Tournament.
The Non-League Paper is reporting that Mark Wright, the Chester manager has stopped four of his players taking part, and Luke Rogers, the Shrewsbury striker has also pulled out. This has given a chance for David Brown to partner Steve Guinan in the English attack.
However, the Tournament is due to start in Scotland on May 18th, which gives the Hereford players only two days to recover from the finals of the Conference play-offs assuming Hereford defeat Aldershot tomorrow.
It looks as though the timing of the Tournament is suspect. Maybe it is not important enough for some players who have just finished a long season.
