Financial constraints imposed on clubs' budgets

"Squad budgeting" has been introduced into the Conference, as a means of wage-capping.

The move has yet to be confirmed, but is expected to be at next month's Conference meeting in Blackpool.

It will include a fixed amount plus an percentage of a club's income, report the Non-League Paper, and those that fail to apply the rules could have points deducted.

Meanwhile, the fight for twenty-four clubs in the Conference next season goes on with more meetings between executives and the Football Association, while Kettering Town have joined the Ryman League as the Dr. Martens Premier Division is full for next season.
