The National League side has confirmed that it has parted ways with Adam Hinshelwood with immediate effect.
The 41-year-old led the Minstermen to safety in 2023/24 before finishing last season, missing out on promotion by six points before then losing out in the play-offs.
This season, they have won one and draw three of their four games.
Co-chairs Matt and Julie-Anne Uggla said, “We would like to thank Adam for everything he has done for the club since his arrival early last year. We wish him nothing but the very best for the future. We look forward to announcing the new manager in due course for this next chapter for the club.”
York later confirmed that Stuart Maynard is their new manager.
