News round up

Maz Kouhyar has left York City
Peterborough Sports have signed former Peterborough United left-back Aaron Powell. The academy graduate didn’t make a senior appearance for Posh, but he impressed during loan spells at Welling, King’s Lynn and, last season, at Kettering Town.

New Kidderminster Harriers manager Adam Murray has signed Jordan Tunnicliffe, a 31-year-old defender who previously spent three seasons at the Worcestershire club. He then spent time at AFC Fylde, and in the Football League with Crawley Town and Wrexham in two promotion-winning seasons.

Maziar Kouhyar, who has had two spells at Hereford under Josh Gowling and Paul Caddis, has been released by York City. The 27-year-old Afghan-born midfielder left Edgar Street to join York, but most recently had a season-long loan at Kidderminster Harriers. He said it was an unforgettable chapter and also gave a special thanks to Harriers.

Jamie Meadows is AFC Telford United's ninth signing of the summer, and the second new face at the New Bucks Head. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder joins for an undisclosed fee from step three side Bromsgrove Sporting, including a 20 per cent sell on clause. Last season, after joining from step five's Stourport Swifts, Meadows featured in every game and was the club's highest goalscorer, netting 18 times.
