Alex Babos moves south and finds new club after turning down Edgar Street deal

Alex Babos has switched National League North for South as he signs for a new club.

The 26 year old central midfielder turned down a deal to stay at Edgar Street, saying it was time for a new chapter down south.

He has now signed for Chesham United in Buckinghamshire, who finished 13th in National League South last season.

It comes after Babos moved down south, with the club describing their new signing as a hard-working but creative midfielder, and a real creative spark for the Bulls.

Babos started his career at Derby County before spending time in Spain with Real Union, as well as FC United of Manchester. He went on to play for Alfreton Town, King’s Lynn Town and Banbury United before joining the Bulls.

In total, he made 94 appearances for Hereford and scored 17 goals.
