Hereford manager Paul Caddis has been linked to the vacancy at AFC Fylde.
This from the Birmingham Mail:
'Birmingham City hero Paul Caddis is a contender for the vacancy at managerless AFC Fylde, BirminghamLive understands.
The 37-year-old, who spent four seasons at St Andrew’s and scored one of the most iconic goals in the club's history in 2014, has genuine interest from the recently relegated National League outfit after their difficult season saw them finish second bottom of the fifth-tier.
Caddis has spent the last couple of seasons as manager of Hereford in National League North and this season guided the Bulls to a tenth placed finish – just one point short of the play-offs, a 1-0 home defeat to runners-up Scunthorpe seeing them fall at the final hurdle
However, that shouldn’t diminish from the progress he has made at Edgar Street having guided the club to their highest ever finish in both campaigns – his first having seen him have to build an entire new squad and his second seeing his part-time players go up against full-time opponents with bigger budgets. He remains under contract for one more year with the Bulls.
Those efforts though have attracted the attention of other clubs, particularly Fylde who parted company with another former Blues player, Kevin Phillips in February, after the ex-striker managed just five wins in 18 league matches in just four months at the club. When Phillips left they were in 22nd place, a point shy of safety but they ended up 23rd and 13 points adrift.
Caddis is also believed to have caught the eye at Newport who have
recently just avoided relegation from League Two under the interim
management of Dafydd Williams, who replaced previous boss Nelson Jardim.'
