Hereford's third goal of the afternoon came from a long throw in by Alec Babos. It found Jason Cowley who scored his second of the friendly.
"A lot of people have got long throws in this league," said Caddis.
"Babs decided to tell us with a week to go last season that he had a long throw.
"I think the first goal came off a long throw as well if I remember right and the third goal.
"So it's something that we will have to look at, it's another weapon for us."
Latest signing Matt Preston came on for 25 minutes.
"We didn't want him to over do it, he only came in on Thursday, the first night we've seen him training.
"You can see he's in good shape, he's looked after himself.
"But you can't replicate a match.
"Really pleased to get him into the club, thought when he came on he used his voice, his experience, he was always in the right area.
"We've got no worries about Matty Preston."
