News round-up: teen keeper sold, experienced attacker signs and more

Kidderminster Harriers have sold less than 1,000 season tickets
Championship side Hull City have signed Scunthorpe United goalkeeper Owen Foster. The 18-year-old has been with the now-National League North side since 2016 but has now left for an undisclosed fee.

Foster had featured a handful of times for Scunthorpe's first team last season when they were relegated from step one but now returns to Hull City in his younger academy days.

Gloucester City have signed experienced attacker Elliott Durrell. The club said the 33-year-old has vast experience in the National League North and above.

They said he was instrumental in Macclesfield Town's National League title-winning side in 2017/18 and helping Altrincham win promotion from the National League North in 2020. His previous clubs include Hednesford, Wrexham, Chester, and York City.

Spennymoor Town midfielder Danny Greenfield said the club only has one aim for the coming season and he thinks "everyone knows what that is". After extending his stat, he also said he is more determined than ever to show what he can do.

The midfielder spent the second half of last term on loan at Scarborough Athletic, where he became a regular on the pitch and a favourite among the supporters.

The number of season tickets sold during the early bird period at Kidderminster Harriers has more than doubled since 2020, the club have said.

Ahead of their first National League campaign since 2015, Harriers said they'd sold 934 season tickets during the early bird period. That's more than the 411 in 2020/21, but that season, and the following year when 494 were sold, were majorly affected by Covid. Last season they sold 819.

Before the early bird period was extended for a week, Hereford had sold 900. The current total stands at more than 1,000.
