Storey Sparked The Performance Said Klukowski

Whilst one point from the game against Brackley may not be enough to ensure Hereford can not be relegated at the end of the season, this was a much better performance.

Afterwards interim manager Yan Klukowski to quick to praise his players.

"We showed great resilience, great mental toughness," he said.

"I thought we started the game very poorly, we didn't settle but we needed somebody to spark a performance and Miles Storey certainly did that.

"He made an average ball a good one and showed fantastic composure to square to Ryan Lloyd who made that long run into the box to get his reward.

"I'm really pleased for the boys in terms of showing that fight back. They are gutted they haven't won the game because I believe that over the ninety minutes we deserved to.

"I thought Aaron and Miles linked really well.

"Fair play to Aaron, he's been a man mountain at centre half, probably man of the match the last few games.

"I'm always toyed with the decision of putting him back up top but then you worry what you might lack at the back end of the pitch, but the boys who played there today were excellent and Aaron has put the club and the team before himsewlf which is in stark contrast to an individual who has left the club this weekend."
