Former manager Josh Gowling has sent a message to Hereford supporters.
'I would just like to place on record a big thank you to everyone at Hereford FC. It's been a fantastic four seasons with lots of highs.
'My goal when taking over the football club was to leave the club in a better position than when I first came in, on and off the field. I would like to give a massive thank you to all my staff and players for their hard work and helping steer the club from relegation candidates to knocking on the door of the playoffs.
"We had a trip to Wembley in the FA Trophy along with finishing the highest league position in the club's history. To top it off, this season we had the biggest game in the club's history live on the BBC against Portsmouth in the FA Cup.
'What I'm proud of most is that a lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to reintroduce the youth set up and a future college programme so that we can get young Herefordians in and around the first team. This has already been a huge success and I would like to thank Jon Nash for all his hard work steering this.
Lastly to the fans. There are so many amazing fans at this football club that have supported me throughout my tenure and I would like to say a big thank you to you all. I'm sure I will see you soon.
