Hereford manager Josh Gowling spoke to the local media after his side defeated Westfields 2-1 in the HFA County Cup last night at Edgar Street.
"It was pleasing," said Gowling.
"Obviously some of the lads haven't played of late, it was good to get them minutes.
"The young lads were a real credit to the football club.
"2-1 down with not long to go, they're flooding men forward, putting balls in the box . That's where young lads get their experience from.
"Our midfield landed up all being under 18 and yound lads at the back as well, 19 and 16.
"Really pleasing that they came through it. They stood strong and they'll learn a lot from that."
